The Association of Flight
Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) is the world's largest labor union
organized by flight attendants for flight attendants. AFA
represents over 55,000 flight attendants of 20 airlines, serving
as a voice for flight attendants at their workplace, in the
industry, in the media and on Capitol Hill. The goal of flight
attendants who become part of AFA-CWA is to negotiate better
pay, benefits, working conditions and work rules at their
airline, and to improve their job safety.
At Council 41 we represent
the US Airways flight attendants based at Washington Nation
Airport. We are approximately 400 members strong with a wide
range of flying experience, from a couple of months to more than
50 years. We directly represent our members in meeting with
management, and work directly with management to fairly enforce
our collective bargaining agreement. |
